Today, more than ever, the importance of culture and creativity for society is clear. This crisis creates a structural threat to the survival of many firms and workers in cultural and creative production. The ambitious challenge of the first afternoon will to discuss impacts, innovations and planning for post-crisis.We will focus in particular on how the lockdown measures impact the different CCIs sub-sectors, we will provide a comparative perspective and examine the different national approaches. Overall, we will estimate potential consequences for the CCIs sector and point towards best practice procedures for political decision-making.Thanks to the intervention of some specialists in the sector and the testimonies of partners and beneficiaries of the CHEBEC program, these exchanges will be an opportunity to analyze the present and debate the future.

Always with the ambition to provide cultural actors with strategic and practical information to increase their development and economic viability, the second afternoon will be an opportunity to take stock of the three years of the CHEBEC program through the presentation of policy recommendations and the tools & initiatives put in place.
